Question

My friend has lots of questions

about God and the authenticity of the Bible.

Where should I point him to answer his questions?

This is not an easy question and by far the most difficult of this week’s questions. I would consider your friend’s questions about the Bible an indication of a spiritual search he or she may be having.

Answer your friend’s questions the best you can in a loving and caring way. Ask God to give you wisdom. The Bible is a book about God and God’s ultimate revelation in His Son, Jesus. The Bible describes a personal relationship we can have with God through faith in Jesus. When we have that relationship so much more of the Bible makes sense and has an authenticity because we know by experience that what it says is true. We may not understand every word but its truth becomes more evident by our daily walk with God.

If you want cold, hard facts about the authenticity of the Bible, enter the words, “Authenticity of the Bible” in Google and review the 1,320,000 million references to this subject.
