Answers to Prayer

• Mike Abbott is home now and resting comfortably.  Mike and Shannon are most appreciative of all of the cards, calls and visits.
• Richard Arnold, husband of weekday preschool teacher, Peggy Arnold, is home now and has a permanent feeding tube. 

Condolences

• To the Morris family in the loss of Tom Morris.  . 
• Marilyn Wertz in the loss of her 20 year old nephew, Stevie Martin.

Hospitalized

• Jodi Cooney, Sheila Jenkin's daughter who lives in Orlando, had her surgery this morning, (7/28).  The lymph nodes looked clear.  The final report will be completed by the end of next week or the first part of the following week.  There will be no Caring Bridge report in the next couple of days.  Keep Jodi, Sheila and the entire family in your prayers.
• Richard Bush is at St. Joseph's Hospital.  He is having an SVT catheterization which will take five to six hours.  Pray for a successful surgery and recovery.

• Terry Thomas is now recovering from his broken leg at home.
• Hank Hilliard - recovering at home
• Katherine Leary, a church family mom, has a dear friend named Lori that is going through a terrible divorce.  She has been hospitalized for a second time this last week.  She needs lots of prayers. 
• Katherine Leary has a 9-year old godson named Nicholas that has Leukemia and has been having chemo for the last few years. Last week he got an infection and went into shock and cardiac arrest.  He is in intensive care.  Pray for NiIcholas and his parents.  He is an only child.
• Sue Bingham is in rehab in Ohio with her family.  She will be going home in a week.  Continue to pray for her.
• Gladys Bailey, aunt of Debbie Porter, is back home.  She has started having chemo again, but they are giving it to herin a smaller dose.  Gladys' daughter, Tammy, has breast cancer and is also going through chemo.  Please keep both mother and daughter in your prayers.  (7/29)
• Howell Thomas has gotten a great report from the surgeon.  There is no sign of cancer in the tissue they removed.  Continue praying for healing. 
• Gerald Thomas, brother of Howell Thomas, is recovering from being attacked at his store.  Pray for comfort and healing. 
• Bob Barth, Debbie Porter's dad, has Charcot, Marie, Tooth disease, which is a form of MD.  He had an MRI done on his back and hip this week.  It appears he has severe arthritis in that area.  The doctor is going to give him some pain killer injections starting next week.  Pray that the shots will help and that he will be able to walk again without a walker.  (7/29)
• Please pray for John Russin who is quite ill with an undiagnosed illness.  He is a brother of a friend that works with Marilyn Wertz.
• Richard Hendrix, Stephanie Wiendl's brother, 30 years old,awaiting heart transplant.
• Howell Thomas' cousin, Mary Ward, is now home.  Mary has MS and will have physical therapy at home. 
• Dina Marshall's father-in-law, Sanders Marshall, needs wisdom on how to proceed with cancer treatment.

• Richard Knott, 53, friend of Jim & Carolyn Strange, has a blood clot on this right lung.
• Karen Perdue - Daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Terel's best friend, 4th lumpectomy.
• Earlene Gravis, friend of Sue Oliver, cancerous brain tumor that can only be partially removed. She is at her granddaughter's home in Orlando.
• Stephanie Wiendl's Mother, Debbie Hendrix, foot surgery.
• Eva Jones, cancer.
• Toby Morris - friend of Marilyn Wertz, cancer.
• George H. Johnston, Judy Richman's cousin in NM, awaiting 2nd kidney transplant this summer.
• Adam Janusz - 32 year old friend of Karen Leary recovering from heart transplant in Arizona.
