Keri Knecht Mitchell has accepted the position of organist at Bayshore Baptist beginning Wednesday, May 7. Keri has exceptional gifts in music. She has taught in private institutions where she has used her ability as a creative artist to enhance the learning experience of students by using modern techniques. Most recently she created a "garage band" at her school to entice students to participate in their music program.

    Keri is a member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. She was awarded numerous scholarships while she was a student at Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is a two-time winner of the Concerto Competition as a soloist with the Spartanburg Sympathy Orchestra. Keri most recently served as the Music and Youth Director in one of our neighboring communities, where she excelled in leading worship and developing a youth band for her congregation.

    We welcome Keri to Bayshore as a mulit-faceted musician and leader. We are looking forward to her serving on our staff. You will enjoy getting to know her and her two children.
