What a great day it was! The worship service, the music, the celebration brunch--it was all good! Thank you to so many people who made this day something we will remember forever. Special thanks to Paula Wilson, Tammy Snyder, and Sue Nichols who led the planning for the Brunch. Thanks to Matthew Hoffman who was the lead chef of a wonderful crew of helpers.
Our total commitments through March 17 are $1,623,602. We have just begun. More cards will come in and people will give who have not pledged. Others who have pledged may give more as God provides. Thank you for every commitment made. We celebrate what this will mean to the future of Bayshore. The Building and Renovation Committee and the Financial Board will be meeting to bring a recommendation to the church on Wednesday, April 2.
We will continue to receive Commitment cards and keys over the next three weeks through First Fruits Sunday on April 6.
Several things to remember about your commitment:
- The campaign commitment is for three years.
- This is over and above your regular giving to the church.
- You can give at any time over the three year period.
- Giving begins on First Fruits Sunday, April 6.
- You may give non-cash assets such as stock and property with some guidelines.
- This is not a contract. If your circumstances change, you may alter your commitment.
