Serving on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee as the Campaign Manager ha been a great opportunity for me. Our entire Steering Committee has been such a blessing to work with these past several months. Serving in this capacity has also given me the opportunity to take a really good look at our education building and the current state that it is in. It has shown me repeatedly that it is time for us, as a church family, to take responsibility for and pride in our church home. It is time to bring back the life, luster, and safety into our hallways and rooms. We need a building that is going to serve us well. We need a building that is functional and inviting to the community ministries that use our church throughout the week. The heart of our education building is certainly still there and the good continues to flow through it. However, the space is no longer equipped to serve as it once was.
I encourage all of you to pray about how you can contribute to this campaign. Please help us leave a legacy to our children, to our grandchildren, to this community, and to the families who have yet to walk through Love's Open Doors.
