What a great day we had today! First of all a BIG thank you to Linda Watts, Miles Manno, and Fred Rogers for helping Karl and me with our projects for the day. We channeled the energy of 32 teenagers into feeding the homeless, cleaning up the grounds at Hillsborough House of Hope, and majorly cleaning out and sprucing up two of our buildings at Bayshore. Some of the kids even learned some new skills. After working with drywall a few of the boys decided they can now make a “man cave”!
We witnessed kids engaging with servants’ hearts and having a great time working together. Afterwards they enjoyed movies and lots of snacks. This day is a keeper! Look for another opportunity in the spring.
