Thanks to the support of donors, staff, partners, and patients, Florida Blood Services has been the "lifeblood" of the Tampa Bay Community for more than 60 years, helping to save countless lives. As they fulfill their vision to be a world-class provider of blood and blood services, their mission remains the same: protecting lives by providing quality blood services and exceptional customer service.

One blood donation can help save the lives of up to three patients. It is estimated that nine out of ten people who live to age 70 will require a blood transfusion.

Requirements to donate:

Age 16 with parental consent

Minimum 110 lbs.

ID REQUIRED TO DONATE

Time required on date of donation: approximately 30 minutes
