Hillsborough House of Hope is a ministry to help young women make the transition from jail to life again. A home has been established for them in which they participate in Bible studies and re-focus life from a spiritual framework. They receive counseling and job training, and encouragement.
At our church picnic in November, Tom Morris and others raised $2,000 to support this ministry. They sold raffle tickets and sponsored a silent auction. Recently we received this note from Claudia Sellers, the President of Hillsborough House of Hope:
Thank you so much for doing the fundraiser for us at Bayshore Baptist! The proceeds helped us so much at a difficult time. Your love and support have meant a lot to us over the past years!
