Faith Cafe
Faith Cafe is a ministry that feeds homeless people in Tampa on a daily basis. Located one block east of Dale Mabry Hwy. at 3702 W. Kennedy Blvd., the Cafe serves a noon-time meal Monday through Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Volunteers Volunteers help set up, serve and then clean up from 11 a.m. -- 1 p.m. In order to add dignity to the meal, guests are served at the table, rather than in a traditional "soup line." Volunteers also visit with the guests, attending to their spiritual needs, especially when there are enough volunteers to make this possible. Donations Items always needed are: (adult sizes) tennis shoes, athletic socks, blue jeans, t-shirts, underwear; backpacks, blankets, sleeping bags; toiletries. Monetary donations are accepted.
